The Institute of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of the Moscow Financial-Juridical Academy will conduct short-term courses of advanced training of educators in 2003/2004 academic year:

Studies are conducted by educators and leading specialists of the Ministry of Higher Education, institutions of the system of advanced training, and leading educational institutions of Moscow .

As part of the exchange of experience, consultations at the Ministry of Higher Education of the Russian Federation are envisaged.

The participants in the courses receive a set of normative documents, reference and educational materials.

Upon completion of the courses, a state certificate of advanced training / state diploma of professional retraining is issued in specializations as follows:

• management at an educational institution;

• jurisprudence in the sphere of education;

• information technologies in education;

• staff training in documentation and records management.

of Professional Accountants

Training and advanced training of professional accountants (УМЦ – UMTS – EMC)

Courses of training for passing examinations for certificate of a  professional accountant

EMC, on the basis of accreditation attached to the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia, provides for either education or examination reception for a certificate of professional accountant.

Upon course completion a participant gets a certificate of a unified standard and his name is entered for examination. The applicants who pass the qualifying examination receive a certificate of professional accountant.

The certificate of professional accountant is valid for five years.

To prolong of a certificate for the next five-year period, a professional accountant should meet the following requirements:

• membership in the Institution of Professional Accountants /ИПБ – IPA/;

• completion of advanced training of not less than 40 hours per year at the UMTS.  

Advanced training of professional accountants

UMTS conducts courses and specialized seminars in advanced training of professional accountants for either the prolongation of a certificate of a professional accountant – not less than 40 hours per year – or advanced training of uncertified accountants.

Special courses in advanced training of professional accountants for the prolongation of duration of qualification certifications (40 hours):

• "Accounting (financial) control"

• "Taxes and taxation"

• "Russian regulations (standards) of accounting"

• "Managerial accounting"

• "Legal regulation of business activities"

• "International standards of financial accounts"

Full members of IPA of Russia who have taken special courses in advanced training have to pass a test.

Certificates of advanced training are given to participants only after passing the test.
